As a new mom that works full time and who i still in college, my free time is limited. But to be quite honest, even if I had all the time in the world I just love a simple, pastel look. For one, it’s thoughtless; I don’t have to worry about matching my clothes to my makeup. For two, it’s timeless; it doesn’t matter what season we are in, nude pastels just “go.” And thirdly, it’s classic; no trends-gone-bad here!
The Body Shop :: Moringa Hand Cream – I love how pretty, light, and floraly this hand cream is. It moisturizes phenomenally and just soaks right into my hands which I love. Plus the scent is just strong enough that it can replace a perfume, but light enough that I don’t have to worry about insulting anyone with too much fragrance.
Julep :: Helen – If lavender and white had a baby, this is what you would get. I love this color. It is just so pretty and feminine but so subtle at the same time. Once my company finishes closing it’s doors I’ll be wearing this often as an interview polish 🙂
NYX Butter Gloss :: Creme Brulee – This is the first NYX product that I ever purchased and it is still my favorite to date. I love that the gloss doesn’t smell/taste funny and love even more that there is not even one glitter in it. It’s just a pretty, petal pink to go with any eye look!
Eyeko London Skinni Mini Liquid Eye Liner – I received this as a sample one month in my Glossybox. The felt tip makes this product so easy to use and I love that I don’t have to travel over the same spots twice because the product is so true to color. Best of all, the product stays in place all day no matter what. This makes this liner ideal for the perfect, simple cat eye.
Pixi Flawless and Poreless Primer – I picked this up at Target for just $9. This product is good at concealing pores (not great, mind you) and I appreciate that it adds to the lifespan of my makeup. It also doesn’t make my face feel oily like some other primers that I’ve tried in the past. You aren’t going to get a flawless finish out of the primer, but you will get a nice, simple, inexpensive base to layer your light to medium coverage makeup.
Swarovski Earrings – I purchased these when I worked for Swarovski in 2011. Unfortunately they are no longer available and I don’t remember the name but they are meant to symbolize any sparkly detail that you can add to something simple so that it has a richer, more elegant appearance. These earrings are that something for me. I wear them with just about anything.
