Good day to you all! I hope your morning is off to a good start 🙂 I’ve already had two cups of coffee and am half way through the new Rockstar “Sparkling” Energy Drink so you KNOW I’m doing great. Do you remember the cherry flavored 7ups? They kinda taste like that. In-case you were wondering. Your welcome if you were.
Ok. I need to pause for a sec so that I can prep myself to fully stress to you how excited I am about this MixCups subscription. If you’ve been following my blog for longer than 20 minutes, you know I’m not really passionate person. I can find things I love and things I hate in just about everything, but there is one thing in life that I just flat out love: coffee.
Oh, did you think I was going to say my husband? Yeah, right after coffee!
Like. You don’t. Even. Know.
So when when MixCups offered me the opportunity to review their coffee subscription for frizzle I was like “hell yeah!” I mean, I didn’t say that cause that wouldn’t be professional. But I was totally thinking it!
what the eff is a mixcups subscription?
Mixcups is a subscription service that was established in 2012 by coffee lovers such as yourself who (in their words) were “tired of drinking the same cup of joe every morning and wished for a way to try something new without having to buy boxes and boxes of coffee that went stale before they ever got used.”
Um, hello! Me too! Plus is just me or do the Kcup packs at the grocery store get more expensive every time I run out? They’re like $15 a box…
Stay focused, Kaily.
what’s in the box?
Their most popular subscription (and the one that I chose) is the “Mix of the Month” for $28.95 (with FREE shipping). You get 30 (3 each of 10 varieties) Keurig®-compatible single-cups of coffee or tea. The mix also rotates so that each month your subscription will include new coffees/teas to try out.
- What if I don’t like coffee? Order the tea subscription instead, duh.
- What if I don’t like surprises? Pick your own drinks with the “My Mix Variety Pack” instead.
- What if I don’t drink THAT much coffee? Order the “Mini Mix” instead (10 cups for $10.95) and then fix your life because only 10 cups of coffee per month just sounds so empty and devoid of happiness.
- What if coffee is my crack and I need MORE than 30 cups, or what if I have another coffee addict in the house? Um, ok I’m sure you are seeing a trend here… order the “Mega Mix” instead (60 cups for $55.95).
You could also gift a subscription to that coffee addict in your life (probably you if you’re reading this) in 1, 3, 6 or 12 month durations (12 months is the best deal btw cause you end up saving over $38).
My experience, thoughts & impressions
Best subscription ever. Seriously. I don’t know how I didn’t know coffee subscriptions existed but this is great. My favorite coffee that I tried was the Cake Boss one, but there were also a few Christmas themed ones included that just made my day seeing as how you can’t find holiday stuff after the holiday in stores.
If you have a Keurig and drink coffee AT LEAST once a day, you will love this subscription. Just go for it.
