What’s up, y’all! So this weekend I spent some time updating the images in the Nude Dude review I published last October which got me thinking… I never actually reviewed the original Nude’tude!
So apparently this palette comes in both a “naughty” and a “nice” version where the pin-up girls are not included. I supppose I understand why in some cases the “naughty” version may not be appropriate (as in, you’re gifting this palette to your 12 year old), but personally I think the girls are what make this palette so fun!
As you can see from the swatches (which are NOT done over primer and are photographed in natural light) this palette is very pigmented. Some of the matte shades and even some of the darker shades are a little chalky and uneven and require a little building, but in general the quality is great.
The overall feel of this palette is pretty-girly-smokey-sexy, so if you are someone who enjoys creating those types of looks, this palette is a great option. My only gripe is that there is no matte skin-toned shade because I like to use those for blending, but that’s just a personal preference.
