◊ ¡¿ Petit Who ?! ◊
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the subscription, Petit Vour is a Vegan and Cruelty-Free company that offers one of the most affordable beauty subscriptions on the market; and for just $15 a month, you will receive a surprise pink box full 4-5 deluxe and full-sized samples!
I believe this is my 3 or 4th box from the 6 months subscription that my wonderful husband gifted me, and I’ve got to admit I am enjoying the subscription so far. Do I like it more than Vegan Cuts? Eh, the verdict is not out quite yet. But I will say I’m very happy with this months box. Let’s take a look:
Inside I received 3 full sized products and 1 deluxe sample:
- ◊ Lippy Girl Vegocentric Organic Lipstick ($23 Value)
- ◊ Zabana Essentials “New” Dry Glow Shampoo ($9 Value)
- ◊ NYL “New” Shimmer Scrub ($11 Value)
- ◊ MUN No. 11 Anarose Toner ($2 Value)
◊ Lippy Girl Vegocentric Organic Lipstick ($23 Value) ◊
I wore this to work Friday so I can actually go ahead and do a first impressions for you guys on this lipstick. I really wasn’t that impressed. Now, I’ve learned pretty quickly that with more natural lipsticks wear time is bound to suck, but not only did this lipstick wear off very easily, it also settled into my lips lines and really accentuated each and every dry spot.
Add that to the fact that on my lips (and against my extremely fair skin) the Vegocentric shade was just to orangey-brown on me and we unfortunately have a flop 🙁
◊ MUN No. 11 Anarose Toner ($2 Value) ◊
Oh, hello there little baby sample! I’m so glad the only sample this month was a toner cause toner I could give a hoot about to be honest. It’s one of those things in my makeup routine that I do because I’m “supposed to” and not because I see any results.
I’ve got to hand it to MUN on the packaging here though! I love how I can set this little cardboard guy up and get 2-3 uses out of him! Great thinkin’ Lincoln’s!!!
◊ NYL “New” Shimmer Scrub ($11 Value) ◊
Alright, now this I can’t wait to try. We all know how I feel about glitter (unless you are freaking Martha Stewart, or under the age of 8, don’t effing touch it), but I’ve never heard of a shimmer scrub before and with this pale as skin I’m pretty stoked to see how many Twilight fan I can dupe into thinking I’m a vampire!
◊ Zabana Essentials “New” Dry Glow Shampoo ($9 Value) ◊
Anddddddddd last but not least, I am super-d-duper excited to test this bad-boy out. My hair is a bi-polar mess… I can’t skip washes without looking like I’ve been shampooing with olive oil, but neither can I wash it every day without getting a dry and brittle mess…
I haven’t found the perfect dry shampoo yet, but to be honest I’m a bit nervous around anything that comes in an aerosol can… so I really can’t wait to try this powdered dry shampoo out.
Let me know if you guys would like to see anything here in a Tester Tuesday (I’ll leave a poll).
