Happy Saturday, my friends! I hope all of you are enjoying your weekend 🙂 Today I’ll be helping my husband with a photo shoot that shouldn’t last for too long. We’ve photographed the family in the past and the kids are just wonderful 🙂
Concerning todays post, if you read/watched my 50 Facts About Me then you know celebrities scare me. If I see them in person, I try to avoid them and I’d say that roughly 0.05% of my free time goes towards finding out more about their lives. Which is why I’m really excited to shake up a little Hello Kaily content today as I present you with this celebrity inspired beauty secrets post by the talented Sophia Smith!
Beauty Secrets You Never Would Have Guessed
It’s known that women use many tricks to look perfect. With enough skill that can be done with makeup. Thanks to today’s popular trend of contouring it is possible to (with some strokes of a brush) shrink the nose, enhance the cheekbones, and change the overall appearance of the face. For a lasting effect, women turn to corrections, such as lip fillers, which can make significant change in looks and confidence.
Celebs are no different. In fact, there are many red carpet ladies who opted for corrections. Some of them did it very obviously, while others hide it rather well. In the following article, we’ll reveal the most interesting celebs’ beauty secrets.
Kylie Minogue: This Australian singer looks like she discovered the fountain of youth (and everyone wants few drops out of that source). It’s no secret that she, at some point, used Botox, but today she tries to be all natural.
So, besides previously used injectable youth, Kylie says that today her secret is in strict skin care routine. Always use sunblock and always apply moisturizer – it’s that simple. Some additional beauty boosters for her are argan oil (for hair and skin) and soy face cleanser.
Jennifer Aniston: Hollywood’s favorite girl-next-door. This beauty who has one of the most natural red carpet looks, isn’t so natural after all. She had a deviated nose problem, and when she was in her twenties, she opteded for nose surgery. For Jennifer, it was a necessary procedure which also gave her an amazing look. What a pleasant side-effect, wouldn’t you say?
The fact that everyone is wondering “is it really true?” makes the nose job even more successful. Because Jenny still looks pretty next-doorish to us.
Jennifer Garner: The smile that once won Ben Affleck had some touch-ups of its own. Who cares? It simply looks gorgeous. Jennifer had a teeth dentistry procedure for her front upper jaw (lengthening teeth, tooth contouring, laser gum lifts). It’s a pretty common surgery.
When you are in movie business, a smile makeover only seems logical. And let’s face it, anyone of us would want to have that drop-dead-gorgeous smile.
Tyra Banks: Well, this is not so big of a secret, but in case you’ve missed it, this is a must know. Tayra Banks, or should we say Tayra Spanx, admitted she adores her spanx and that perfect-body illusion it creates.
It’s not that she doesn’t already have a perfect body, but a little help is good for anyone. In fact, the red carpet is filled with ladies in spanx. That is Hollywood’s slim-fitting secret that is not so much of a secret anymore. So that, my ladies, is what creates those lovely slimming silhouettes.
Robin Wright: The 49 year old House of Cards star looks like she’s at least 15 years younger. The stunning beauty portraying the somewhat ruthless first lady admitted she gets “the tiniest sprinkle of Botox twice a year”.
There are rumors that she also had a facelift, though she never admitted this. It’s hard to tell because she never overdid it. It’s just smoothing the skin a bit without losing recognizable facial features. If she did a facelift, we must applaud on a nicely done procedure, which has more natural-looking results than for most of the Hollywood actresses.
Though every person is perfect as it is, the red-carpet-perfection doesn’t happen by itself. Sometimes it takes some extra help. If it works, why not?

Hey friends, it’s Kaily again! So what do you think!? I know plastic surgery is a very controversial subject and I plan to do an Unpopular Opinion on it shortly, but Sophia has shared many interesting secrets that I for one did not know! And I don’t know about you, but I’m not sure how I feel about this either. Do these minor surgeries help to boost confidence of those who get them? Or do they cause people who cluelessly compare their own naturalness to the “natural looking” yet sculpted figures, noses and lips of these celebrities to hate themselves!? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below and please reach out to Sophia on social media to tell her how much you enjoyed her post 🙂
All my love ♥
