Although I’ve always appreciated the look of freshly manicured nails, I’ve never really been a fan of the process. You have to remove the polish, shape the nails, apply a base coat, slap on two coats of your color (but not too fast or they won’t dry) and then slap on a layer of top coat. Then you have to sit there helpless for an hour or two while you wait for the nails to totally dry (cause goodness only knows when you think they’re dry, they’re not).
If you appreciate the tediousness of this whole process, I’m sure you’ll also appreciate products that last through the work week with minimal wear like this festive Springy/Summery purple from Floss Gloss!
I love the brush too (even if the gold wand is plastic, and not metal like I originally thought). It’s not so thick that I paint more of my finger than my nail, but not so small that I’ve got to dunk it in polish 50-million times to get an even coat.
On the con side, with just 0.18 fl oz, I’ve got to admit that this polish is a bit smaller than most polishes on the market. But really, when was the last time you actually finished a nail polish anyway? In my case? Never.
What are some of your favorite long-wearing polishes for Spring!?
