My husband bought this Chameleon tape dispenser for me a few years ago because I thought it was hilarious and my amusement has not waned. It just makes me so happy every time I look at it!
To make it even better, I swapped out the regular ol’ scotch tape for washi tape so grabbing a tape makes it twice as fun.
If Chameleons aren’t your thing, though, fear not! Staples has several others.
People at work are finally starting to understand that I’m not joking when I ask them if they want to color. I mean, it’s not like I walk around looking for for pre-k buddies, but if I notice that someone looks particularly stressed or frazzled I can’t help myself!
Coloring is soothing. You don’t have the brain capacity to worry about the pressure of budgets, a particularly rude customer or the stability of your company when you’re trying to decide if your clouds should be pink or blue!
In particular, I’m a big fan of Twistable colored pencils because you never have to worry about where your pencil sharpener is, and this coloring book is awesome because it’s full of inspirational quotes.
I love these bluetooth headphones sooo much. My husband is super tech-y so when he bought a pair a few years ago he insisted I needed one as well. I didn’t care about it at first, but then I downloaded the Pandora app on my phone and started using the headphones to listen to music at work. Can I just tell you how much happier I am?
Some of my favorite Pandora stations are:
- Lindsey Sterling
- and Summer Hits of the 2000s when I’m feeling spunky
I also use the headset to listen to audiobooks while I’m at work, on my lunch break, and driving to and from the office. My top 3 sources for audiobooks include Audible (for new releases), Kindle Unlimited for older, less popular stuff and then the Overdrive app for whatever is at the library.
WHAT ARE SOME THINGS THAT MAKE YOU HAPPIER AT WORK!?
