I originally had zero interest in the Too Faced Glitter Bomb palette projected to launch on July 17th. But then the Tarte Make Believe in Yourself palette happened and I think I’m a glitter convert. I’m really curious to see if the texture will be foiled or the traditional chunky Too Faced setup I don’t care for. Already I can tell you I’m bummed that they aren’t including an emerald green or sapphire blue like the “E”and first “T” on the packaging; but not bummed enough to boycott!
But in continuation of my avoidance of all things collaborative, I will not be picking up anything from the Too Faced x Kandee Johnson collaboration. I’m just not a fan of the drop in quality that tends to come with these types of collaborations. I mean I get it… everyone wants their piece of the pie… but why should fans have to suffer!?
The new Clover palette that should be launching in August is for sure on my wishlist, though! I mean, what would Jerrod’s dog want with money anyhow? So I’m assuming the quality should still be intact.
I’m a bit on the fence about their Just Peachy palette, though. This one is supposed to launch in August as well, and while I’m all about some mattes (and some peaches), why does this palette look like what the Tartelette Toasted should have been!?
Ugh, I hope they do away with the scent though. My Sweet Peach palette makes me nauseous.
Oh…. but what is the Tartelette Toasted, you ask? Just one more palette on my wishlist for Fall 2017! I’m not gonna lie… while it looks like a great options for Medium-Deep skintones, I’m a bit bored. Where is the color, people!? I need THE COLOR!
Oh, there it is! Kat Von D is my new makeup hero swooping in to save the day with her Saint and Sinner palette. I couldn’t find a launch date, all I know is I will regret missing out on the Mi Vida Loca palette for the rest of my life and I don’t make the same mistake twice!
Though I have to admit… a little order to the color arrangement wouldn’t kill anyone…
But a neutral “glimmer” palette just might… Why, Kat, WHYYYYYYYYY!? Brands have been working for years to improve the glittery mess that is known as the Naked line (personal blog ergo personal opinion), so why revert back to bad habits now!?
Will I buy it anyways, though? You can bet your sweet bippy I will!
What palettes are you looking forward to picking up and/or avoiding!?
